Recoup with Blogs.
As you, the readers, may have noticed I've been meticulous in updating for each day of preparation. I do enjoy writing and blogging; it takes a lot of time though. The primary reasons are to both entertain you, the readers, and hope that you may donate some money to the clinics in Java. "What clinics?", you may ask. I am still searching for the right clinics. I am intent on finding clinics of integrity and high need rather than any one I come across. My goal is to find one in West, Central, and East Java and donate around 3 million Rupiah each (about $350 USD, at the current rate). It doesn't sound like much, but that small amount can do a lot here. I was able to buy 6 months of anti-malarial prophylaxis for about $6 USD when I first got here. Today, I spent the entire day updating. There's a donate button to the right if you'd like to help. Any amount is welcomed!

Thursday Nights.
I've returned to my old schedule of Thursday night Pencak Silat and late night market shopping. Our sessions are much less active and more about just hanging out. We joke as much as my Indonesian ability allows. Sometimes I just sit there and watch the cats scurry by as clove cigarette smoke wafts through the air. Last night there were some banana chips I scarfed down and enjoyed a new type of coffee the teacher's wife bought. I will write about my Pencak Silat friends when I take pictures of them on Sunday night.
